Let the games begin!
Athletes from 88 nations have gathered at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia to show off their record-setting sporting skills. Almost 300 medals will be awarded to first, second and third place finishes in a variety of high-performance snow and ice events, including alpine skiing, speed skating, snowboarding, ski jumping and ice hockey.
